I probably chose a strange topic for discussion, but “people are strange,” what can you do about it.
So there we go: is FUD good or bad?
On the one hand, I understand perfectly well how unpleasant it is for the overall positive atmosphere when someone speaks unflatteringly about your favorite business or project, whether they have grounds for this or not. On the other hand, I cannot pay attention to the fact that FUD, like nothing else, contributes to what we all want, namely the deflation of Xen! And as we rejoice at the emergence of every new project that aims at the same thing, why not then also rejoice at what is already there, naturally, FUD?
I have never seen Jack saying "Oh, God, when will this FUD stop, we need an exclusively positive vibe!" It feels like he either doesn’t care at all about it or he also sees it as part of the process in a positive light. Just think about it - thanks to all those swearing, rumors and gossip in recent days, how much time has been lost Forever in order to mint myriads of Xen with the cheapest gas ever! Time that none can ever turn back! How many unclaimed wallets have been burned due to those who decided that it is not worth of bother anymore! The wolf catches the weak sheep. IYKYK, "If you know, you know!" - this is the ideal formula to judge the current situation. Why is Jack so calm? Because he knows EXACTLY where and why he is going! I even remember that he once said that he wouldn’t mind seeing Xen going lower and find it's natural price bottom. It seems to me that all the worries concern those who do not fully understand or do not share his goal, and doubt his integrity.
DYOR, do your own research BEFORE you are going to invest in a project, how many times everyone has heard this, but it is one thing to hear and quote something and another thing to apply it to yourself and your actions. And if you did, then why worry, be calm like Jack, knowing that one way or another we will get where we were going!
Follow the safe path staying with pure Xen and projects that come only from the Xen team, or play risky games if it is in your nature, but do it on your own responsibility, DYOR and if you loose blame none but yourself.
On this positive note, I’ll probably end by proclaiming already traditional: mint Xen, mint at the lowest gas for the max term, and take advantage of the happy opportunity of "Buying the dips"! Cheers
